My Time Made Easy: Well Contained

>> Tuesday, February 28, 2012

First of all.... i'm back with a post for My Time Made Easy! Last month I was on a production set during release time (that sounds so fancy! I was just making doctor's look good for interviews and things that would be shown to hospitals, tradeshows, etc) But I missed out on the release time! So i'm very excited to be back this month AND My Time Made Easy has some awesome new team members!

Check them out!

And now onto my project to share!

On March 1st there will be 2 new templates releases. This one I am sharing today is so cool and really in 2 templates in 1. And you can choose either piece or put both together (like I did today)
THe template is called Well Contained. It has a box and a holder.

Here's a shot of the template/box taken out of the holder...

I also used the new digi stamp set Spring is Here for my sentiment and butterfly. I hand stamped the swirls on my green cardstock using the acrylic set Fanciful Flourishes (which is available as a digi download set as well).

Now what is INSIDE my template? I joined a new company called itWorks. They have all kinds of body and skin care but their revolutionary thing is these body wraps. They come in a package with the lotion already on the cloth and then you simply apply it (so easy) and wrap yourself either with tight fitting clothing, a towel, saran wrap, etc. And they smooth, tighten and hydrate the skin allowing your body to shrink so to speak. I did it in my tummy and boy oh boy does it WORK! I took off about an inch and a half in my first application. And I'm a small framed person, but did have some extra skin from kiddos. I plan on doing the side/back flabby next! WOOHOO! Oh and the facials (my real reason for joining the team, i wanted to be able to offer them to clients) leaves your skin smooth, hydrated and helps dimish wrinkles AND combat blemishes. WOOHOO! Feel free to check out my site if you are interested. You can find it, HERE. I'm telling you, my skin has never felt this awesome!! And i'm a makeup artist, so i take extremely good care of my skin!

Ok ok ok, back to the project here...

Inside my box, I simply folded and rolled 1 application up. It would make such an awesome gift!! You actually get 4 in a package, so it's 4 gifts. Or you can host a spa party. Give the set I made here as a hostess gift or thank you gift for someone who deserves a little time to themselves.

Now check out these fine and fabulous design team members and what they have to share with you today!

Digi Makeover Challenge: Wordart

>> Monday, February 20, 2012

Wow, long time no post!
February is usually much slower for me in terms of workload.... NOT THIS YEAR!
I have had many production jobs, a trip to Nebraska with my boys (which is where i was last week) and then with the rubber closeout sale.... phew! It has kept me busy!
The rubber clearance is still going strong at 75% off! Just use the code closeout75 to get the discount!

And now onto this week's digi makeover challenge!
This week, Michelle has challenged us to use a digi word art!

Here is my card...
I've said it before, and Ill say it again... one of the things i love most about digi stamps is the ability to resize the stamp to suit your needs. Here I enlarged the word art from the Home Matters digi set so that it would take focus of my card. BUT then when i went to use my chosen nestie die, i had made the sentiment just SLIGHTLY too big. Drat the cat! But, it was an easy enough fix, i simply made it ever so slightly smaller, reprinted and ada bing bada boom, it was perfecto!

My papers used are from Crate Paper (way old papers... i'm in operation use it up mode and am trying to not purchase any new ones for a bit!)

Be sure to check out the company blog to see the other design team members awesome creations for the challenge!!!

PMS blog hop

>> Tuesday, February 7, 2012

The 7th of the month means another blog hop from Paper Makeup Stamps!
This month we have been inspired by things we love!

I picked 2 images very near and dear to my heart...

Coming to the decision to stop rubber production for Paper Makeup Stamps was an incredibly hard decision to come to. In the end, it boiled down to not having enough time for my family.
With my makeup artistry really gaining speed, the extra time I have needed to be spent with my favorites boys, jack who will be 6 this month, Gabe who is 3 and of course, my husband.
We do have masses of rubber around our home however so we definitely are wanting to move those out and regain some of that space! This means we are moving to our final markdown price of 75% off all remaining inventory! Get it while you can! Use the code CLOSEOUT75 in your check out cart.

On my card, I used "A Couple of Moodies" and the sentiment Together is my favorite place to be.
I used the rubber versions of these fun stamps and colored the image with copic markers.

And now it's time to move on in the hop for more awesome inspiration!
Please check out one of my favorite friends, Tangii Crain's blog!

PMS Digi Makeover Challenge and MTME

WHAT A WEEEEEEEK! For those that may have missed me on My Time Made Easy this week... i meant to even make a post about my absence but that is just how busy i was!
I got a last minute call for a big production shoot that required me to drive about an hour + each morning and then had me on set for 10+ hours before making the drive home. During that time... 1 child got the flu, then the other child got the flu... and then somehow EVEN I got the flu the day after the production wrapped. I was hoping I would have missed it all! Then after me my husband gets the flu. OY! I think he was the biggest baby of them all! haha!
Then this weekend was more work madness with a total of over 20 faces of makeup and over 10 hair styles. BUT, it was well worth all the work. Now i'm just exhausted!

BUT you can check out all the new goodies from My Time Made Easy ! They are available for purchase now!

And now onto the PMS digi challenge post!
THis week Michelle has challenged us to use pink and grey which you know always causes excitement in me. :D

Here is my card...
I love this scripture from the Be Still set and I love how with digis you can make a sentiment the full focus of a card, or shrink it down to match an image. Obvious here I chose to make it the focus!

Be sure to check out the rest of the team over on the PMS company blog!!! And make a card to be entered on winning some free digis for yourself!
